LOCATION - Lat 32°44'15", long 114°42'56" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 NW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.25, T.16 S., R.21 E., Imperial County, CA, Hydrologic Unit 15030107, San Bernardino Meridian, 2 mi east of summit of Pilot Knob, 6 mi west of Yuma, AZ, and 20.8 mi downstream from intake of All-American Canal at Imperial Dam.

PERIOD OF RECORD - Feb. 1939 to current year. Prior to October 1943 monthly discharge only, published in WSP 1313. Prior to October 1956, published as Pilot Knob Wasteway near Pilot Knob.
GAGE - The forebay is a water-stage recorder.
The tail race is a remote stage transmitter.
Openings through two turbines are indicated by the wicket opening in percent.
Spill gates are equipped with continuous graphic recorders connected by standard float tapes.
COOPERATION - Daily discharges furnished by Imperial Irrigation District.
