LOCATION - Lat 41°44'36.15", long 111°45'43.42" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.31, T.12 N., R.2 E., Cache County, UT, Hydrologic Unit 16010203, Cache National Forest, approximately 500 ft downstream from head and 3.8 mi east of Logan.
REVISIONS HISTORY -

The maximum discharge for water year 2019 was revised on Sep. 7, 2020, based on changes to the stage-area rating.

Gage height and discharge for the period July 24 to July 29, 2020, were revised on December 11, 2020, based on changes to the primary source of the gage height record.

GAGE - Water-stage recorder and acoustic velocity meter. May 1963 to April 2013, water-stage recorder at present site at different datum. Datum of gage is 4,861.05 ft. above NAVD of 1988 from a Level II GNSS survey conducted on October 13, 2023. Previously published as "Logan, Hyde Park and Smithfield Canal at Head near Logan, Utah".
REMARKS - Records good, except for estimated days which are poor.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum daily discharge, 111 ft³/s, May 23, 1963, May 28, 1966; no flow at times most years.
