LOCATION - Lat 40°07'05", long 111°18'50" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 NE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.13, T.8 S., R.5 E., Utah County, UT, Hydrologic Unit 16020202, on left bank 400 ft upstream from Syar Tunnel.
DRAINAGE AREA - 15 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1998 to September 2003, April 2004 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 6,320.81 ft. above NAVD of 1988 from a Level II GNSS survey conducted on August 4, 2023.
REMARKS - Flow includes water diverted from Strawberry Reservoir (capacity, 1,106,500 acre-ft) since June 30, 1973, in Colorado River Basin via Strawberry Tunnel for irrigation in vicinity of Spanish Fork. Records are good except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 251 ft³/s, May 6, 2015, gage height, 5.70 ft; minimum, 3.0 ft³/s, Mar 16, 2000.
