LOCATION - Lat 40°04'35", long 111°22'57" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 SE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.33, T.8 S., R.5 E., Utah County, UT, Hydrologic Unit 16020202, on right bank 0.5 mi upstream from Red Hollow, 8.0 mi upstream from mouth, and 9 mi northeast of Thistle.
DRAINAGE AREA - 97 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2001 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Elevation of gage is 5,390 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.
REMARKS - Records considered good except for estimated daily discharges, which are fair. Flow includes water diverted from Strawberry Reservoir (capacity, 1,106,500 acre-ft) since June 30, 1973, in Colorado River Basin via Strawberry Tunnel for irrigation in vicinity of Spanish Fork.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 887 ft³/s, May 15, 2011, gage height, 7.20 ft; minimum daily discharge, 20 ft³/s, Oct 7, 2009.
