- For water years 2014 onward, choose a water year and parameter and an on-demand Water-Year Summary report will be generated.
- For water years 2006 through 2013, choose a water year and an Annual Water Data Report will be provided.
- For water years 2005 and earlier, Annual Water Data Reports may be available in digital format.
- Not all sites have reports available for every water year.

LOCATION - Lat 40°35'41.27", long 116°10'23.77" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.01, T.31 N., R.51 E., Eureka County, NV, Hydrologic Unit 16040104, on right bank, 50 ft above diversion structure and 1.8 miles southeast of Palisade, NV.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,002 mi².

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Nov. 1902 to Dec. 1904 (gage height only); Jan. 1912 to Sep. 1914, Jan. 1946 to Sep. 1958; 1964, 1992, 1999, 2000 (discharge measurements only); Oct. 2023 to current year.
GAGE - Water stage recorder. Datum of gage is 4858.41 NAVD of 1988. The NAVD of 1988 datum was determined by level 2 GNSS survey (Reference Frame NAD_83 (2011) (EPOCH:2010.0000), GEOID12A) by USGS on Nov 08, 2023. Prior to Nov 08, 2023, the elevation of the gage was 4,900 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, from topographic map. Prior to Jan 1, 1946, staff gages at site half a mile downstream at different datum. Jan 1 to July 18, 1946, water stage recorder at site 1,000 ft downstream at different datum.

EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - 3,140 ft³/s Feb. 11, 1962
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - 1912-14, 1946-58: Maximum discharge, 1,010 ft3/s, Mar. 27, 1952, gage height, 4.69 ft (datum then in use) from rating curve extended above 330 ft3/s on basis of slope area measurement of peak flow; no flow for many days in 1951, 1953-55, 1957-58.
