LOCATION - Lat 33°39'51", long 117°17'35" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.09, T.6 S., R.4 W., Riverside County, CA, Hydrologic Unit 18070202, on right bank, 2.0 mi east of Elsinore, 2.1 mi downstream from Railroad Canyon Dam, and 36 mi downstream from Lake Hemet.
DRAINAGE AREA - 723 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR CA-72-1: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 16,000 ft³/s, Feb. 17, 1927, gage height, 11.8 ft, from rating curve extended above 2,000 ft³/s, on basis of slope-area measurement of peak flow, maximum gage height, 12.55 ft, Dec. 22, 2010; no flow for many days in most years.
