- For water years 2014 onward, choose a water year and parameter and an on-demand Water-Year Summary report will be generated.
- For water years 2006 through 2013, choose a water year and an Annual Water Data Report will be provided.
- For water years 2005 and earlier, Annual Water Data Reports may be available in digital format.
- Not all sites have reports available for every water year.

LOCATION - Lat 34°58'06", long 120°24'11" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Santa Barbara County, CA, Hydrologic Unit 18060008, on upstream wingwall of left bank concrete bridge abutment on Suey Road, below the mouth of Suey Creek, and 0.9 miles east of Santa Maria.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,636 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 1999 to September 1999, October 2006 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 227.56 ft above NAVD of 1988. April to September 1999 at elevation 10 ft lower.
REMARKS - Flow regulated by Twitchell Reservoir. Water is released from this reservoir to recharge groundwater in the lower basin.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 24,700 ft³/s, Dec. 19, 2010, gage height, 14.77 ft; maximum gage height, 15.36 ft, Feb. 17, 2017; no flow for many days in each year.
