LOCATION - Lat 35°45'28.16", long 120°53'04.35" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.15, T.25 S., R.10 E., San Luis Obispo County, CA, Hydrologic Unit 18060005, on top of dam next to pump house, .08 mi north of Heritage Road and Nacimiento Lake Drive intersection, and 8.7 mi southwest of Bradley.
DRAINAGE AREA - 325 mi².  
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - February 1957 to September 1985, November 2020 to current year. Monthend contents prior to October 1970, published in WSP 2129. Prior to October 1978, published as "Nacimiento Reservoir", October 1978 to September 1985 published "Lake Nacimiento".
 
GAGE - Datum of gage is 0.00 ft above NGVD of 1929 and 3.06 ft above NAVD of 1988.
REMARKS - The crest elevation is 825 feet above mean sea level (msl) with a spillway elevation of 787.75 feet which can be raised to an elevation of 800 feet by the use of inflatable Obermeyer spillway gate. When the reservoir is full (elevation 800 feet) it has a maximum storage capacity of 377,900 acre-feet. The maximum elevation during flood stage is 825 feet, with a maximum temporary capacity of 538,000 acre feet.
