LOCATION - Lat 36°47'57", long 120°09'49" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.18, T.13 S., R.17 E., Fresno County, CA, Hydrologic Unit 18040001, on left bank, 0.4 mi north of Ashlan Avenue, 0.5 mi south of Gravelly Ford Canal, and 7.5 mi northwest of Kerman.
DRAINAGE AREA - 1,818 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2009 to current year.
GAGE - Datum of gage is 190 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographical map.
COOPERATION - Records provided by U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, under the general supervision of the U.S. Geological Survey.
REMARKS - Flow is diverted from Millerton Lake (station 11250100) and by nine powerplants and eight reservoirs with combined capacity of about 609,300 acre-ft. Many diversions above station for irrigation. See schematic diagram of lower San Joaquin River Basin available from the California Water Science Center.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge 7,600 ft³/s, Apr. 2, 2011, gage height, 13.55 ft; no flow Dec. 15-18, 2010, Dec. 10-18, 2011, March 07-12, 2014, April 13-16, 2014 and May 05-09, 2014.
