LOCATION - Lat 38°28'15", long 120°00'18" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.09, T.7 N., R.18 E., Alpine County, CA, Hydrologic Unit 18040010, Stanislaus National Forest, on right bank 50 ft downstream of outlet pipe at downstream face of Lake Alpine Main Dam on Silver Creek, 2.2 mi northeast of Bear Valley, and 19.6 mi southwest of Markleeville.
