LOCATION - Lat 38°14'01", long 120°16'44" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Tuolumne County, CA, Hydrologic Unit 18040010, Stanislaus National Forest, on left bank at McKays Point Reservoir at downstream end of Beaver Creek Penstock, 4.5 mi east-southeast of Arnold. 28" diameter discharge valve is located at the penstock outlet to McKays Reservoir in 12' x 12' concrete valve house.

GAGE - Acoustic-velocity meter. Elevation of penstock discharge valve is 3,405.00 ft above NGVD of 1929.
