LOCATION - Lat 37°57'46", long 121°41'11" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.06, T.1 N., R.2 E., Contra Costa County, CA, Hydrologic Unit 18040003, on right bank, 25 ft upstream of County Flood Control drop structure, and 0.2 mi north of sewage disposal plant in the City of Brentwood.
DRAINAGE AREA - 38.3 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR CA-02-3: 2001.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 2000 to September 2013 (discontinued).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 34.21 ft above NGVD of 1929. Prior to May 2012, at site 300 ft downstream at same datum.
REMARKS - Flow is affected by numerous agricultural and municipal storm diversions upstream from station. Low flow is sustained by urban and agricultural run-off. Marsh Creek Reservoir is located upstream, but acts primarily as a detention basin.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 1,770 ft³/s, Jan. 2, 2006, gage height, 8.60 ft; no flow May 21-25, July 28, 2012.
