LOCATION - Lat 41°00'55", long 121°09'13" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Lassen County, CA, Hydrologic Unit 18020002, on right bank, 1.7 mi upstream from North Gulch, 2.2 mi upstream from Spring Gulch, and 7.4 mi south of Bieber.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1994 to current year.
GAGE - Acoustic-velocity meter measures diversion flow.
COOPERATION - Records were provided by Malacha Hydro Limited Partnership, under general supervision of the U.S. Geological Survey, in connection with Federal Energy Regulatory commission project no. 8296.
REMARKS - Records for 2013-18, 2020 waters year were not provided or did not meet U. S. Geological Survey requirements and were not published. Water is diverted upstream of Ogee weir (station 11351948) through Pit River Tunnel (station 11351945) to Collett Reservoir (station 11351600), for power generation.
