LOCATION - Lat 40°24'18", long 122°07'16" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.32, T.30 N., R.2 W., Shasta County, CA, Hydrologic Unit 18020101, 8.5 mi east of Cottonwood.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
COOPERATION - Records were provided by Pacific Gas and Electric Company, in connection with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission project no. 1121.
REMARKS - Powerplant consists of one unit with a total of 12,150 KW normal operating capacity. Total discharge is computed from gross generation transmitted over a set amount of time and dividing by the amount of water that has passed through the powerplant. The resulting value then results in the water duty which then establishes a MW to CFS relationship. Generation is measured and stored within the station meter of each powerhouse and then sent to GRIP using parameters developed from plant performance tests. No correction for head is made as this plant operates within a narrow range of pressure. Total powerhouse flow is then transmitted and stored in the Hydstra database.
