LOCATION - Lat 39°33'44", long 121°16'46" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.27, T.20 N., R.6 E., Butte County, CA, Hydrologic Unit 18020123, on left bank, at Kanaka Diversion Measuring Weir, 2.5 mi upstream from confluence with South Fork Feather River, and 2.5 mi southwest of Feather Falls.
DRAINAGE AREA - 15.5 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 1989 to September 1998, October 1999 to September 2006, October 2007 to September 2008, October 2009 to September 2010, October 2011 to August 2017 (discontinued).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and 120° V-notch weir. Elevation of gage is 1,660 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.
COOPERATION - Records provided by STS Hydro Power Ltd., under general supervision of the U.S. Geological Survey, in connection with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission project no. 7242.
REMARKS - Records for the 2014-17 water year were not provided for review and therefore not published. Water from the creek is diverted upstream from gage to Kanaka Powerplant (station 11396396).
