LOCATION - Lat 39°19'29", long 120°38'39" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Nevada County, CA, Hydrologic Unit 18020125, near left bank of South Yuba River 0.2 mi downstream from Spaulding Dam and 2.4 mi northeast of Emigrant Gap.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1986 to current year. Unpublished records for water years 1981-86 available in the files of the U.S. Geological Survey.
GAGE - Discharge computed based on electrical power generation and the head. Elevation of powerplant is 4,700 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.
COOPERATION - Records were collected by Pacific Gas and Electric Company, under general supervision of the U.S. Geological Survey, in connection with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission project no. 2310.
REMARKS - Previously published as a monthly line item with station Lake Spaulding near Emigrant Gap, CA (11414140).
