LOCATION - Lat 39°02'30", long 121°19'52" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.29, T.14 N., R.6 E., Placer County, CA, Hydrologic Unit 18020108, on left bank, 1.2 mi downstream from Camp Far West Reservoir, and 5.4 mi northeast of Wheatland.
DRAINAGE AREA - Not determined.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1989 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 120 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.
COOPERATION - Records provided by South Sutter Water District, under general supervision of the U.S. Geological Survey, in connection with Federal Energy Regulatory Commission project no. 2997.
REMARKS - At times during dry and critical years, which is defined by the Water Quality Control Plan for the San Francisco/Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Estuary 91-1WR, May 1995, mean daily discharges between July 1 and Sept. 30 may represent flows that include the 10 ft³/s minimum daily fish release requirement plus additional flows that are required by the Bay-Delta Settlement Agreement. The gage measures required fish-release flow and is entirely regulated by Camp Far West Reservoir.
