LOCATION - Lat 41°06'41", long 122°42'16" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.32, T.38 N., R.7 W., Trinity County, CA, Hydrologic Unit 18010211, in Shasta National Forest, on left bank, 24 ft upstream from State Highway No. 3 Bridge, 3.2 mi upstream from Coffee Creek, and 8.6 mi north of Trinity Center.
DRAINAGE AREA - 149 mi².

GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 2,536.93 ft above NGVD of 1929. Prior to Oct. 1, 1978, water-stage recorder at site 0.2 mi downstream at datum 3.57 ft lower.
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - Flood of Dec. 22, 1955, reached a stage of 10.5 ft, previous site and datum, from floodmarks, discharge, 11,400 ft³/s.
