LOCATION - Lat 48°04'07", long 122°17'12" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in NW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.22, T.30 N., R.4 E., Snohomish County, WA, Hydrologic Unit 17110019, Tulalip Indian Reservation, on left bank 200 ft upstream from highway crossing, 0.15 mi east of Tulalip and 0.30 mi above mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 15.4 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - Discharge for the period of December 21, 2019 to May 30, 2020 was revised on June 29, 2021, based on changes to the stage-discharge rating.

Prior to July 30, 2024, datum of gage was reported as 56.99 ft above NGVD of 1929, when it should have been reported as 56.99 ft below NGVD of 1929.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1974 to September 1977, November 2000 to current year. Published as "at Tulalip" 1974-77.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Elevation of gage is 52.92 ft below NAVD of 1988 (USGS GNSS2 on June 13, 2023) and 56.99 ft below NGVD of 1929 (GPS). October 1974 to September 1977, water-stage recorder, at site 600 ft upstream from highway crossing, at different datum.
REMARKS - Some regulation at outlet of Lake Shoecraft, drainage area 6.12 mi², and natural regulation in lakes and ponds in basin. Minor diversions above station for domestic use from East Branch Tulalip Creek. Tulalip Fish Hatchery diverts entire flow at times from East Branch Tulalip Creek, and Tulalip Creek above East Branch for use in hatchery. Water is returned to creek above station. Chemical analysis November 1974 to March 1977, water temperature October 1974 to March 1977. U.S. Geological Survey satellite telemeter at station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 179 ft³/s, Nov. 23, 2011, gage height, 98.65 ft; maximum gage height, 98.76 ft, Feb. 6, 2020; minimum daily discharge, 3.13 ft³/s, July 23, 2003.
