LOCATION - Lat 48°16'39.6", long 121°48'36.6" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.08, T.32 N., R.8 E., Snohomish County, WA, Hydrologic Unit 17110008, on left bank, 1.5 mi downstream of Boulder River, 3.8 mi south-west of Swede Heaven, and at mile 22.3.
DRAINAGE AREA - 140 mi²
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 2014 to October 2015.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is NAVD88. U.S. Geological Survey satellite telemeter at station.
REMARKS - No known regulation or diversion upstream of station.
  • Water Year 2014: Records fair except for March 26 to April 15 and estimated daily discharges, which are poor.
  • Water Year 2015: No estimated daily discharges. Records good.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 12,900 ft³/s Nov. 28, 2014, gage height, 294.14 ft.; minimum discharge, 104 ft³/s Aug. 25, 2015, gage height 287.95 ft.

PERIOD OF RECORD - TURBIDITY: March 2014 to October 2015.
INSTRUMENTATION - Turbidity sensor interfaced with a Data Collection Platform/Electronic Data Logger, with 15-min recording interval, since October 2011.
REMARKS - U.S. Geological Survey satellite telemeter at station.
  • Water Year 2014: Turbidity records good. No record Apr. 9-15, May 4-6, June 26-27.
  • Water Year 2015: Turbidity records fair. No record June 16 to Aug. 3.
