LOCATION - Lat 46°27'49.53", long 113°14'25.00" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 SW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.09, T.8 N., R.13 W., Granite County, MT, Hydrologic Unit 17010202, on right bank 0.4 mi west of Maxville and 1.0 mi upstream from Boulder Creek.
DRAINAGE AREA - 206 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - Water Supply Paper 1216: Drainage area.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 1941 to current year (no winter records in water year 2007). April 1939 to September 1941 at site 0.5 mi upstream; records not equivalent owing to diversions.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 4,828.38 ft, referenced to the National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. U.S. Geological Survey satellite telemeter is located at the station.
REMARKS - Some regulation occurs by Georgetown Lake. Diversions for irrigation occur upstream from station. During irrigation season, flow is supplemented by water from East Fork Rock Creek which is diverted in sec.5, T.4 N., R.14 W., 500 ft below Rock Creek Dam, through a canal into Trout Creek, thence into Flint Creek.
