LOCATION - Lat 48°47'05", long 118°07'27" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in sec.16, T.38 N., R.37 E., Stevens County, WA, Hydrologic Unit 17020002, at county road bridge 0.1 mi downstream from Toulou Creek, 1.1 mi east of Barstow and at mile 10.9.
DRAINAGE AREA - 4,044 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - Discharge for the period Oct. 9, to Nov. 19, 2020, was revised on July 27, 2021, based on changes to the stage-discharge rating.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Water years 1960-62, 1963-70 (partial-record station), 1972, October 1974 to September 1976. February 2016 to February 2021.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 1,301 feet above NAVD 1988, from topographic map.

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 46,500 ft³/s May 11, 2018, gage height 40.12 ft; minimum discharge 112 ft³/s February 5, 2019, result of ice effect.
