LOCATION - Lat 47°42'22", long 115°58'45" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 SE 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.05, T.50 N., R.4 E., Shoshone County, ID, Hydrologic Unit 17010301, Prichard quad., in Idaho Panhandle National Forests, on left bank 0.1 mi downstream from Uranus Creek, 0.5 mi upstream from Shoshone Creek, 3.5 mi north of Prichard, and 200.0 mi upstream from mouth of Spokane River.
DRAINAGE AREA - 335 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - December 1950 to current year. Prior to October 1991, published as Coeur d'Alene River above Shoshone Creek near Prichard, Idaho.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage datum is arbitrary.
REMARKS -
  • Water Year 2014: Records good except for periods Oct. 31 to Nov. 8, Nov. 21 to Mar. 7, and Apr. 24, records poor.
  • Water Year 2015: Records good except for periods Nov. 11 to Dec. 6 and Dec. 30 to Feb. 8, records poor.
