LOCATION - Lat 47°33'16.92", long 116°19'23.16" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 SE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.34, T.49 N., R.1 E., Kootenai County, ID, Hydrologic Unit 17010303, Cataldo quad., on left bank at Cataldo, downstream side of Rails-to-Trails bicycle bridge, 0.9 mi upstream from Interstate 90, 1.5 mi downstream from old gage site, 3.4 mi upstream from Latour Creek, about 2 mi upstream from Coeur d'Alene Lake backwater, 4.9 mi downstream from South Fork, and at mile 162.9.

July 29, 1920 to Oct. 10, 1925, non recording gage, Oct. 11, 1925 to Sept. 30, 1972, recording gage at site 1.5 mi upstream at datum 2.84 ft lower and Aug. 22, 1986 to Feb. 3, 1997, at site 50 ft upstream at same datum.
