PERIOD OF RECORD - November 2017 to current, Seasonal October 1 to November 30 and March 1 to May 31.
GAGE -

Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is 703.847 ft above NAVD of 1988.

The NAVD of 1988 datum was determined by a level II GNSS real time network survey of RM4 completed by USGS personnel using a Trimble R12i GNSS receiver on July 20, 2022 and tied to RM2 using differential levels of September 20, 2022. This survey determined that RM2 was 727.942 ft above NAVD of 1988; Reference Frame NAD_83(2011), EPOCH:2010.0000, GEOID18.

REMARKS - Public Utility District No. 1 of Chelan County diverts water at Chelan to develop about 40,000 kW and during spawning season reach 4 is regulated by adding flow via pumping to the 80 cfs base flow from the low level by pass below the spillway.  Five pumps are available and capable of pumping 50-58 cfs each from the power house outlet into the concrete canal to the mouth of reach 4.  For fish habitat purposes 280 to 320 cfs is maintained in reach 4  from Oct. 15 to Dec. 2 and from Mar. 15 to May 15.  Diversions for irrigation of about 6,280 acres with an annual depletion of about 11,000 acre-ft, 1946 estimate. Flow regulated by Lake Chelan (station 12452000).
