LOCATION - Lat 42°39'12.90", long 114°38'05.27" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in sec.07, T.9 S., R.16 E., Twin Falls County, ID, Hydrologic Unit 17040212, on left bank approximately 0.7 mi upstream of Crystal Springs, and 7.5 mi northeast of Buhl.
DRAINAGE AREA - 22,845 mi².  
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - December 2019 to October 2020 (discontinued).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Gage datum is arbitrary.
REMARKS - Flow regulated by American Falls Reservoir 112.5 mi upstream. Diurnal fluctuation caused by hydroelectric plants upstream.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum gage height, 88.98 ft, May 27, 2020; minimum gage height, 83.84 ft, Feb. 20, 2020.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - Chemical analyses June 2020 to October 2020 (discontinued at site). Continuous water temperature (WT), specific conductance (SC), dissolved oxygen (DO), pH, turbidity, fluorescence (fDOM), chlorophyll-rfu (fCHL), and phycocyanins-rfu (fPC) began May 2020 to October 2020. (discontinued, moved to site location13093383).
REMARKS - The practice of assigning qualitative accuracy ratings to continuous water-quality data was discontinued in WY2017.
