LOCATION - Lat 43°30'49.00", long 113°05'02.00" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 NW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.11, T.2 N., R.28 E., Butte County, ID, Hydrologic Unit 17040218, Arco Hills SE quad., on left bank, 0.05 mi south of head of INL diversion, 0.4 mi north of intersection of gravel road from Highway 20-26 with road on top of dike, and 13.2 mi southeast of Arco.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - 1965-68 (discharge measurements only); July 1984 to September 2012; March to August 2013; April 2014 to current year (seasonal records only).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 5,000.00 ft above NGVD 1929, (levels by U.S. Geological Survey).
REMARKS - Flow is regulated by Mackay Reservoir (see station 13126000) and is diverted from the Big Lost River for purposes of flood control at the Idaho National Laboratory facilities.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum daily discharge, 1,290 ft³/s June 9, 1986; no flow for long periods many years.
