LOCATION - Lat 44°05'07", long 115°37'20" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in sec.27, T.9 N., R.7 E., Boise County, ID, Hydrologic Unit 17050120, Lowman quad., Boise National Forest, on right bank 1,200 ft upstream from Rock Creek, 0.5 mi northwest of Lowman, 4,100 ft downstream from Clear Creek, and at mile 106.
DRAINAGE AREA - 446 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY -

WDR-US-2010: Drainage area.

The peak discharge for water year 2017 was revised on Feb. 2, 2024, based on incorrect entry into peak flow file prior to 2019 or due to migration error when transferring data from peak flow file to current database.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 1941 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 3766.20 ft above NAVD88. Prior to Dec. 18, 1941, nonrecording gage at site 900 ft upstream.
REMARKS - No regulation. Return flow from several small irrigation diversions enters river above station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 8,980 ft³/s June 16, 1974, gage height, 8.36 ft, from floodmark; minimum daily, 130 ft³/s Dec. 31, 1994.
