LOCATION - Lat 44°17'30.52", long 116°46'57.47" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 NW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.14, T.11 N., R.4 W., Washington County, ID, Hydrologic Unit 17050124, Mann Creek SE quad., on right bank 700 ft downstream from county road bridge, about 10 mi northeast of Weiser, 12.3 mi downstream from Crane Creek Reservoir, and 0.2 mi upstream from mouth.
DRAINAGE AREA - 288 mi².
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - July to September 1920, February 1921 to September 1973, February 1981 to May 1982, May 2001 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Gage datum is arbitrary. Prior to May 2001 at site 700 ft upstream. May 2001 to May 2024, at site 200 ft upstream at same datum. 
REMARKS - Flow regulated by Crane Creek Reservoir 12.3 miles upstream. Diversions above station for irrigation of about 820 acres (1966 determination).
EXTREMES OUTSIDE PERIOD OF RECORD - A major flood occurred Dec. 3 or 4, 1910, Jan. 2, 1997.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 4,800 ft³/s Feb. 17, 1982, gage height, 7.30 ft (site and datum then in use); no flow for part of May 1, 1956, Apr. 19-21, 1967, Apr. 21-22, 1968, Apr. 29 to May 2, 2007.
