LOCATION - Lat 13°32'09.1", long 144°54'53.0" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Guam County, Hydrologic Unit is unknown, located on 40 ft. steel container, about 200 ft. inside from entrance of FAA radar complex on Mt. Santa Rosa.
CLIMATOLOGICAL RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 2001 to June 2009, June 2010 to current year. Prior to October 2005, unpublished records are in the files of the U.S. Geological Survey.
INSTRUMENTATION - An 8-inch dual-tipping bucket catchment system mounted on top of a 40 ft steel container at approximatley 10 ft above ground surface. Prior to December 1, 2006, a float system was in use. Prior to June 9, 2010, at different location approximately 30 feet from present location and 10 feet above ground. Elevation of gage is approximately 830 ft, from topographic map.
REMARKS - Rainfall recorded in 0.01 inch increments. Prior to December 1, 2006, recorded in 0.1 inch increments.
