LOCATION - Lat 46°34'59", long 118°01'24" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Columbia County, WA, Hydrologic Unit 17060107, on Little Goose Dam on the Snake River, 6.2 mi northeast of the town of Starbuck WA, at mile 70.4
DRAINAGE AREA - Not determined.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 2009 to current year (seasonal records only). Seasonal records from April 2005 to September 2008, available in files of the Geological Survey Kennewick Field Office.
PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD - WATER TEMPERATURE: April 2009 to current year (seasonal records only). TOTAL DISSOLVED GAS: April 2009 to current year (seasonal records only).
INSTRUMENTATION - Water quality monitor with a 1-hour logging interval since 2005.
REMARKS - The USACE manages spill levels for fish passage to avoid exceeding 120% total dissolved gas (TDG) in project tailraces and 115% in the forebay of the next project downstream consistent with the current percent TDG limits.

WATER TEMPERATURE: Maximum, 22.8°C, June 27, 2021; Minimum, 3.0°C, March 12, 2019, but may have been higher or lower during periods of missing record.

TOTAL DISSOLVED GAS: Maximum, 126 percent saturation, June 8, 9, 2010 and May 18, 2011, March 18 and 21, 2017; Minimum, 94 percent saturation, Sept. 9-11 and 19, 2015, but may have been higher or lower during periods of missing record.
