LOCATION - Lat 42°13'06.1", long 122°43'29.9" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in sec.32, T.38 S., R.1 E., Jackson County, OR, Hydrologic Unit 17100308, on right bank, 0.4 mi downstream from Ashland Creek and at mile 20.6.
DRAINAGE AREA - 179 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - Revisions: Drainage area was revised from 168 mi² on Jan. 31, 2023. 
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 1990 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and crest-stage gage. Datum of gage is 1,678.27 ft above NAVD of 1988. Prior to Sept. 9, 2021, at site 0.2 mi upstream at datum 11.86 ft higher.
REMARKS - Flow regulated since 1924 by Emigrant Lake (active capacity, 39,000 acre-ft). Water is diverted into basin from Klamath River basin. Many diversions for irrigation upstream from station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 12,000 ft³/s Jan. 1, 1997, gage height 11.00 ft; minimum discharge, 0.33 ft³/s Oct. 18, 1990.
