LOCATION - Lat 60°49'15", long 149°25'31" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.34, T.8 N., R.1 W., Kenai Peninsula Borough, AK, Hydrologic Unit 19020302, (Seward D-7 quad), Chugach National Forest, on left bank, 6.0 mi upstream from mouth at Turnagain Arm, and 10.6 mi southeast of Hope.
DRAINAGE AREA - 234 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - Water Data Reports for years 2001 through 2010 erroneously reported the instantaneous low flow for the period of record as being 29 cubic feet per second. The instantaneous low flow for the period of record is unknown. The peak stage for the period of record is 29.0 ft., and occurred sometime between Nov. 26, 1979, and January 9, 1980, during the release from storage behind a snow-avalanche dam, upstream from the former gage site, site and datum then in use.
