LOCATION - Lat 64°02'04", long 142°31'42" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 SW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.17, T.26 N., R.15 E., Southeast Fairbanks Division, AK, Hydrologic Unit 19040104, (Eagle A-3 quad), on left bank, approximately 1.5 miles downstream of Kechumstuk Creek,2 miles northeast of the historic Kechumstuk village and mining area and 18 miles west of Chicken.
DRAINAGE AREA - 846 mi².
REVISIONS HISTORY - Discharge for the period October 7 to 8, 2016, was deleted on December 5, 2017.  Water Temperature record from April 25 to May 14, 2018 was deleted on March 7, 2018.
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 20, 2015 to October 5, 2019 (seasonal, discontinued).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Elevation of gage is 2050 ft above sea level, from topographic map.
REMARKS - GOES satellite telemetry at station.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge 3,830 ft³/s, May 15, 2017, gage height 46.35 ft.  Maximum backwater affected gage height of 49.45 ft on May 4, 2017.
