LOCATION - Lat 22°05'09.0", long 159°34'08.7" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Kauai County, HI, Hydrologic Unit 20070000, on left bank 5.0 mi northeast of mouth, 6.4 mi southeast of Kokee Lodge, and 11 mi northeast of Waimea.
DRAINAGE AREA - 2.09 mi². from automated delineation using 10-meter National Elevation Dataset digital elevation model data dated September 2006 and Watershed Boundary Dataset dated May 2008, using UTM Zone 4 projection, NAD 83 horizontal datum.
REVISIONS HISTORY - WSP 1937: 1921, 1922-32(M), 1953(M), 1954. WSP 2137: Drainage Area. WDR HI-10-1: Drainage Area.  Discharge for May 8, 2020 was revised on March 10, 2021
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS

EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum discharge, 4,530 ft³/s, January 16, 1921, gage height, 8.44 ft, from rating curve extended above 1,100 ft³/s on basis of slope-area measurement at gage height 4.60 ft; minimum, 0.99 ft³/s, May 17, 18, May 30 to June 2, 1966.
