LOCATION - Lat 18°23'01", long 66°25'52" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Vega Baja Municipio, PR, Hydrologic Unit 21010002, 4.88 mi (7.85 km) southeast of Manatí plaza, 5.24 mi (8.43 km) southwest of Vega Baja plaza, and 2.25 mi (3.62 km) west of Evaristo Camacho School.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 574 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: SHELTER FLOOR, 3.30 ft above land-surface datum, Jan. 14, 1993 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1, 1989 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder 60 minute interval.
COOPERATION - Funding for site provided by the Puerto Rico Environmental Quality Board and the US Geological Survey.
REMARKS - Water level affected by pumping of nearby well.
PERIOD OF DAILY RECORD - October 1, 1989 to October 25, 2002, October 18, 2010 to current year.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level recorded, 44.61 ft., below land-surface datum, October 19, 2017; lowest water level recorded, 85.79 ft., below land-surface datum, January 26 and 27, 1998.
