LOCATION - Lat 18°26'02.8", long 66°33'34.9" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Barceloneta Municipio, PR, Hydrologic Unit 21010002, 0.7 mi south of the intersection of State Road 140 with José de Diego Expressway (PR-22), 0.35 mi east of the intersection of State Road 140 with Highway 2, and 1.35 mi northeast of the intersection of State Road 140 with State Road 666.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 213 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: TOP OF METAL CASING, 0.82 ft above land-surface datum, Nov. 16, 1996, to Sep. 3, 2014; TOP OF 4 INCHES STEEL PIPE., 2.83 ft above land-surface datum, Sep. 3, 2014, to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - November 6, 1972 to September 30, 2002, discontinued. April 11, 2011 to current year.
COOPERATION - Funding for site provided by the Puerto Rico Department of Natural and Environmental Resources and the US Geological Survey.
REMARKS - Observation well. Water level affected by pumping of nearby well.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level measured, 196.00 ft (59.74 m), below land-surface datum, June 18, 1975; lowest water level measured, 215.62 ft (65.72 m), below land-surface datum, November 13, 1975.
