LOCATION - Lat 18°26'46.6", long 66°20'18.8" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Vega Alta Municipio, PR, Hydrologic Unit 21010002, 1.52 mi (2.45 km) north of Vega Alta plaza, 4.78 (7.69 km) mi southwest of Dorado plaza, and 2.01 mi (3.23 km) northwest of Escuela Industrial para Mujeres Penitentiary.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 90 ft. Upper casing diameter undefined; top of first opening undefined, bottom of last opening undefined.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 35.39 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: TOP OF CASING WOODEN COVER, 1.20 ft above land-surface datum, Mar. 16, 1978 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - One measurement in February 1946. May 11, 1959 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder 60 minute interval, satellite telemetry at station.
COOPERATION - Funding for site provided by the Puerto Rico Department of Natural and Environmental Resources and the US Geological Survey.
