LOCATION - Lat 19°40'37", long 156°01'29" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Hawaii County, HI, Hydrologic Unit 20010000, USA. Located in Aimakapa Fishpond near the southeastern, inland part of the pond, about 1 foot seaward of the basalt rock wall separating the main pond from the partitioned inland part of the pond. Owner: National Park Service (NPS).
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 2 ft above undefined vertical datum. Measuring point: MP is the top of 2-inch slotted PVC standpipe MP is the top of 2-inch slotted PVC standpipe MP, 2.04 ft above Local Mean Sea Level, Sep. 15, 2016 to present.

GAGE - Pipe characteristics: 2-inch diameter PVC slotted pipe, mounted vertically to bottom substrate (basalt pahoehoe) using a flange attached to expansion anchors and stainless-steel bolts. Water depth at site is about 1-2 feet. Pipe has slip-on cap.
