LOCATION - Lat 19°40'42.06", long 156°01'19.99" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Hawaii County, HI, Hydrologic Unit 20010000, USA. Well is located about 150 feet southwest of the Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park visitor center building. Owner: National Park Service (NPS).
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 52 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 33 ft, bottom of last opening 52 ft. Drilled monitor well, 2-inch diameter PVC casing, and hinged locking cap.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 36.68 ft above undefined vertical datum. Measuring point: Bracketing notches etched into top of PVC casing, 1.19 ft above LSD, 37.99 ft above Local Mean Sea Level, Dec. 28, 1995 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - Occasional discrete water-level measurements between April 2009 to present.
Continuous water-level data were collected by USGS between April 2009 and September 2010 and December 2014 to present.
Continuous temperature and specific-conductance data were collected by USGS between December 2014 to present.
