LOCATION - Lat 25°10'33.2", long 80°44'08.1" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in sec.29, T.60 S., R.36 E., Miami-Dade County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090202, Terrapin Bay, 17.5 mi east of Flamingo Visitor Center, Everglades National Park, approximately 0.5 mi upstream of McCormick Creek at Mouth near Key Largo, located on the left bank between Monroe Lake and Middle Lake.
DRAINAGE AREA - Indeterminate.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 2014 to current year.
GAGE - Acoustic Doppler velocity meter with up-looking acoustic stage sensor. Datum of gage is North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD 88).
REMARKS - Positive flow is towards Florida Bay. The discharge for this station is more affected by wind than astronomical tides. Discharge at wind-driven sites may require a different filter (subtidal) than the Godin low-pass filter. Discharge and gage height records are available in the files of the U.S. Geological Survey.
