LOCATION - Lat 25°35'49.5", long 80°21'48.1" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.05, T.56 S., R.40 E., Miami-Dade County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090202, on SW 185th Terrace west of SW 104th Avenue, 0.1 mi north of Quail Roost Drive, 0.4 mi west of U.S. Highway 1, and 16.4 mi southwest of Miami.
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR FL-84-2B:1983.  Groundwater level of 1.39 ft above NGVD 1929, measured on June 4, 2011, was determined to be erroneous and was removed on Mar. 9 2022. 
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 33 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 8.7 ft, bottom of last opening 33 ft. Open hole 8.7 to 33 ft. See REMARKS.

Measuring point: top of base, 13.47 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Jan. 1, 1940 to Feb. 28, 2006; top of casing, 14.14 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Jan. 25, 1940 to Jul. 29, 1981; top of casing, 13.53 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Jul. 28, 1981 to Oct. 1, 1994; top of base (possibly in error), 13.53 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Oct. 1, 1994 to May. 23, 1995; top of base, 13.62 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, May. 31, 1995 to May. 23, 2000; top of base, 13.5 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Mar. 3, 2006 to Dec. 12, 2008; top of base, 14.03 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Jan. 13, 2008 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - January 1940 to September 1974, S-182. October 1974 to current year.
GAGE - Electronic data logger.
REMARKS - The well was damaged May 23, 1995, reconstructed May 31, 1995; also damaged in February 2000, reconstructed on May 23, 2000, also knocked down with attached stick-up (iron casing) and repositioned on March 3, 2006, and again damaged December 11, 2008, reconstructed January 13, 2009. The well was originally open to the aquifer from 9 to 51 ft. The open interval has collapsed or become obstructed at a depth of 28 ft. Measured well depth at 32.7 ft, below NGVD, in October 17, 1940 and 30.4 ft below top of base on May 27, 2003. The figures of water levels as elevation, in ft NGVD, from June 1995 to September 1995 has been revised. Corrected records are in the files of the U. S. Geological Survey. The well was published as S-182 prior to the 1975 water year. Records of water levels prior to January 1957 are available in files of the U.S. Geological Survey. EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level measured, 9.06 ft NGVD, Sept. 12, 1960; lowest measured, 0.53 ft NGVD, Apr. 29, 1971.
