LOCATION - Lat 25°41'49.7", long 80°21'24.6" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.32, T.54 S., R.40 E., Miami-Dade County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090202, north edge of C-2 Canal (Snapper creek), 5.0 mi west of South Miami, 42 feet South of south edge of North Snapper Creek drive and just East of tree line, 423 feet WNW of intersection of SW 100th Ave. and Snapper Creek Drive.
DRAINAGE AREA - Indeterminate.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 2010 to April 2014. Discontinued.
GAGE - Satellite data collection platform with pressure transducer and acoustic Doppler velocity meter. Prior to May 2013 satellite data collection platform with acoustic stage transducer, acoustic Doppler velocity meter. Datum of gage is National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929(NGVD 29).
COOPERATION - Miami-Dade County.
REMARKS - Flow affected by regulation at downstream salinity-control structure S-22. Miscellaneous discharge measurement made in October, 2008.
