LOCATION - Lat 25°42'18.5", long 80°17'16.1" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.25, T.54 S., R.40 E., Miami-Dade County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090202, approximately 250 ft north of original well location, in parking lot on west side of SW 58th Avenue, north of Sunset Drive in South Miami, 0.1 mi south of U.S. Highway 1. See REMARKS.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 20 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 0 ft, bottom of last opening 20 ft. Open hole 14 to 20 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 12.5 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: top of concrete curb, at land surface, 11.12 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Jan. 11, 1940 to Feb. 19, 1949; water-level recorder measuring point, original F-319, 13.21 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Feb. 18, 1949 to Mar. 1, 1953; top of casing, of replacement well, 13.81 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Mar. 1, 1953 to Oct. 1, 1980; top of base, replacement well, 13.81 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Jul. 13, 1981 to present. PERIOD OF RECORD - January 1940 (intermittent), July 1940 to August 1945 (biweekly), August 1945 to current year.

REMARKS - In 1953, F-319 was destroyed and a new well installed 250 ft north of the original location. Both wells are published as "F-319" (USGS 254217080171801) in order to provide continuity of record. Records of water levels prior to January 1957 are available in files of the U.S. Geological Survey.
