LOCATION - Lat 25°57'10.5", long 80°22'31.6" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.06, T.52 S., R.40 E., Miami-Dade County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090202, 0.5 mi south of Snake Creek, 3.5 mi east of U.S. Highway 27, and 4.7 mi west of Miami Lakes.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 15 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 10 ft, bottom of last opening 15 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 3.80 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of base, 10.75 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Nov. 12, 1959 to May. 4, 2007; Top of base (estimated elevation), 10.02 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, May. 3, 2007 to present. See REMARKS.
PERIOD OF RECORD - January 1958 to July 2021. Discontinued.
GAGE - Satellite data collection platform.
REMARKS - Records of water levels prior to October 1973 are available in files of the U.S. Geological Survey. Station reconstructed in May 2007 after becoming obstructed. Water levels published May 2007 through September 2007 have been computed based on estimated measuring point elevation. See DATUM.
