LOCATION - Lat 26°00'42", long 80°35'17" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Broward County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090202, in Water Conservation Area 3-A southwest of Miami Canal, northwest of L-67A and south of U. S. Interstate 75.
DRAINAGE AREA - Indeterminate.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 2006 to current year.
GAGE - Satellite data collection platform with water-stage shaft encoder. Datum of gage is North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD 88).
COOPERATION - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
REMARKS - This station is part of the Everglades Depth Estimation Network (EDEN) for Support of Biological and Ecological Assessments. During the dry season water level too low or non existent for sensor to record. The gage loses contact with the water table at a water level of approximately 6.0 ft NAVD 88. All data each year that is below this water level has been removed from the files of the U.S. Geological Survey. Land surface is approximately 6.0 ft above NAVD 88.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum gage height, 11.21 ft Nov. 15, 16, 2020; minimum, indeterminate, well dry for many days during some years.
