WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 23 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 8 ft, bottom of last opening 23 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 9.50 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of flange, 9.91 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Oct. 25, 1984 to Apr. 4, 2018; Top of flange, 11.7 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Apr. 4, 2018 to present. GAGE - Monthly measurement with chalked tape.
REMARKS - Prior to April 4, 2018, land-surface datum published as 7.20 ft above NGVD29.  Highest daily maximum water-level exceeded the measuring point of 9.91 ft during Hurricane Irma on September 10, 2017, therefore could not be precisely measured.  The figures of water level as elevations, in feet NGVD, prior to October 2001 are in error. A +0.56 ft correction has been applied to correct water level data. Corrected records are in the files of the U.S. Geological Survey. See DATUM. The well was originally open to the aquifer from 8 to 23 ft. The open interval of the well has collapsed or become obstructed at a depth of 9.3 ft. Water-level data from this well are not considered to be affected by the collapsed interval.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest daily maximum water level, 9.79 ft NGVD Sept. 10, 2017; lowest, 0.52 ft below NGVD Apr. 23, 2015.  See REMARKS.
