LOCATION - Lat 26°03'55", long 80°54'14" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Collier County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090204, in Big Cypress National Preserve north of the Tamiami Canal and south of U.S. Interstate 75 (I-75), west of L-28 and south of the I-75 canal.
DRAINAGE AREA - Indeterminate.

SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 2006 to current year.
GAGE - Satellite data collection platform with water-stage shaft encoder. Datum of gage is North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD 88).
COOPERATION - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
REMARKS - This station is part of the Everglades Depth Estimation Network (EDEN) for Support of Biological and Ecological Assessments. During the dry season, the water level is too low or non-existent for sensor to record. Station goes dry at an elevation of approximately 8.60 ft NAVD88. The revised mean daily gage-heights are available at http://wdr.water.usgs.gov/.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum gage height, 11.40 ft Sept. 11-13, 2017; minimum, indeterminate. well dry for many days during dry season during some years.
