LOCATION - Lat 26°11'47.4", long 80°11'44.9" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 SE 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.07, T.49 S., R.42 E., Broward County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090202, on the east side of a paved road, 80 ft west of Hawkins Road, 0.1 mi north of Prospect Road and 0.75 mi east of U.S. Highway 441.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 73 ft. Upper casing diameter 2.50 in; top of first opening 71 ft, bottom of last opening 73 ft. See REMARKS.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 9.40 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of shelter base, 12.05 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Feb. 14, 1984 to Nov. 23, 1990; Top of base, 12.47 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Nov. 23, 1990 to present. See REMARKS.
PERIOD OF RECORD - February 1984 to current year.
GAGE - Electronic data logger with pressure transducer.
COOPERATION - Broward County.
REMARKS - The well was originally open to the aquifer from 71 to 73 ft. The casing has become obstructed or collapsed at a depth of 66 ft. Well was damaged and reconstructed November 23, 1990. See DATUM.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level, 2.11 ft NGVD, Sept. 24, 2014; lowest, 16.44 ft below NGVD, May 15, 2002.
