LOCATION - Lat 26°13'47.43", long 81°35'17.42" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.11, T.49 S., R.27 E., Collier County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090204, 30 ft east of canal, 500 ft west of 10th Street SE, 100 ft south of Golden Gate Boulevard, 12.9 mi northwest of Collier County Government Center.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 420 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 370 ft, bottom of last opening 420 ft. Artesian well, open hole 370 to 420 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 13.5 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of 3/4-in. PVC coupling, 2.84 ft above land-surface datum, Oct. 1, 2010, to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1984 to April 2001 (Monthly), May 2001 to January 2016. Discontinued. See REMARKS.
GAGE - Satellite data collection platform with pressure transducer.
REMARKS - Data from artesian wells measured with a calibrated pressure gage are considered accurate to +/-0.1 ft. Records of water levels from Water Years 2003 through 2005 are considered to be in error. Corrected records are found in files of the U.S. Geological Survey. A 1.1 correction should be applied to data published from August 17. 2001 to September 30, 2010. Well monitored weekly for water quality from June 2007 to Aug. 2007, monthly from Sept. 2007 to July 2008. Well destroyed due to road widening project and replaced with C-948R (261342081352901) See DATUM.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level measured, 37.6 ft NGVD, Nov. 25, 1987, Jan. 28, 1988 and Sept. 28, 1995; lowest daily maximum water level, 24.14 ft NGVD, Apr. 26, 2007. See REMARKS.
